American Legion Training

American Legion training begins with Basic Training, the official online training program offered through The American Legion’s national website. This self-paced course provides members and officers with a strong foundation in the organization’s history, programs, structure, and responsibilities, while also preparing those interested in advancing their leadership skills. The next opportunity is Florida American Legion College (FALC), an intense three-day leadership experience designed to take that foundation to the next level. FALC is dedicated to improving leadership skills by stressing personal growth and development, with an emphasis on leadership and mentoring, communication, critical thinking and problem solving, team building, networking, and developing the ability to support Posts, Districts, and Department-level training
